Kwara United Executive Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, has applauded the players of the Kwara Football Academy after their emphatic 6–0 win over DANNAZ of Lagos in week eight of the N Youth League. Titiloye, popularly called the King of Boys, rewarded the youngsters with a cash gift in recognition of their outstanding performance.
Titiloye was present at the stadium alongside the Kwara FA Chairman, Mallam Musa Idris Abdullahi Turaya. Both men cheered the team throughout the match and were delighted by the brilliance displayed by the academy’s rising stars. Titiloye praised the players, urging them to remain focused and continue working hard so they can fulfil their potential.
Kwara Football Academy also extended their unbeaten run with the commanding victory. Head Coach Rasheed Adegbanro, widely known as Iyaka, described the result as well deserved. He explained that his players were anxious in the opening stages but settled into the game after being reminded to stay calm and follow the game plan.
The academy scored twice before the break and added four more goals in the second half to complete a dominant display. Adegbanro attributed the performance to the team’s commitment and growing understanding of his football philosophy. He expressed confidence that the team will continue to improve as the season progresses.
With eight weeks played, the academy remain unbeaten both home and away. Adegbanro dedicated the victory to the players, technical crew, and management, promising that the team will surpass last season’s achievements and continue to develop talented young footballers for the future.
