Power Dynamos Head Coach Osward Mutapa has expressed confidence ahead of tomorrow’s TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Group A match against Pyramids FC. The fixture will take place at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Speaking at a pre-match press briefing, Mutapa acknowledged the disappointment of last week’s defeat to RS Berkane but insisted his team is ready to face the Egyptian side.
“The boys are excited about the challenge that lies ahead. Nothing is impossible in football. We just have to give it our all. Playing in the Champions League is motivation on its own,” he said.
Mutapa admitted the match will be tough but stressed Power Dynamos still have everything to play for. “Football is for the brave. Today you win, tomorrow you can lose. We anticipate a tough game. Yes, we lost, but we are not out,” he added.
Midfielder Salulani Phiri also shared the coach’s optimism, highlighting the squad’s determination. “We know what we have to do,” Phiri said.
