Gombe United Football Club have officially unveiled Salihu Yusuf as their new Technical Adviser, a move aimed at revitalising the Savannah Scorpions ahead of the second stanza of the season.
The unveiling ceremony took place on Monday at the VIP 2 Room of the Pantami Stadium in Gombe, with members of the club’s management, technical crew and media representatives in attendance.
Yusuf’s appointment highlights the club’s determination to strengthen its technical structure as the campaign enters a decisive phase. A respected figure in Nigerian football, he takes charge with a clear mandate to stabilise the team, instil discipline and build a competitive side capable of meeting expectations.
Known for his emphasis on organisation, player development and tactical discipline, Yusuf is expected to bring renewed structure and confidence to the squad as Gombe United push for improved performances.
Speaking at the event, Team Manager Ishaya Usman, on behalf of the management board, expressed confidence in the new Technical Adviser’s ability to make a positive impact.
