Kwara United Football Club have announced the death of their longest-serving driver, Mr. Ezekiel Akhuete Oluwafemi, who passed away on Friday after a brief illness.
The club confirmed the development in an official statement signed by the Chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, describing the loss as a devastating blow to the Harmony Boys family.
According to the statement, the management had hoped Mr. Akhuete was recovering steadily before his sudden death, which came as a shock to players, officials and staff.
Mr. Titiloye praised the late Akhuete for his dedication, loyalty and years of committed service to the club, noting that his experience and professionalism would be deeply missed.
On behalf of the management, players, officials and stakeholders, the Chairman prayed for the repose of Mr. Akhuete’s soul and asked God to grant his family the strength to bear the loss.
