The Chairman of the Niger Tornadoes Management Committee, Engr. Ibrahim Dada, has urged the club’s players to remain focused and disciplined as the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League enters its second round.
Engr. Dada gave the charge ahead of Tornadoes’ Matchday 20 fixture against Barau FC in Kano State, a game that begins a demanding run of away matches for the Ikon Allah Boys.
The midweek encounter in Kano will be followed by another road trip to Lafia, where Niger Tornadoes will face Nasarawa United, before the team returns home.
Welcoming the squad back from the mid season break, the chairman reminded the players of the club’s target for the campaign, which is to secure a continental ticket.
“I welcome you back from a well deserved half season break. As we resume for the second stanza, it is time to continue from where we stopped in the first round,” Engr. Dada said.
He stressed the need for sustained concentration, discipline and greater effort, noting that the club’s ambition could only be achieved through collective commitment.
Niger Tornadoes have four important fixtures lined up in January. They travel to face Barau FC and Nasarawa United before hosting Enyimba FC at home. The month will end with another away fixture against Bayelsa United in Yenagoa.
As part of efforts to motivate the players, Engr. Dada also rewarded the squad with ₦500,000 as an end of year appreciation gesture.
