The Nationwide League One Secretariat has reminded clubs to submit all required licensing documents, team kits and venue branding materials ahead of the 2026 season.
The directive comes as the league prepares to return to the traditional home and away format, starting from the upcoming campaign. The NLO said the move is aimed at restoring competitiveness and the full spirit of the division after previous adjustments.
In a statement issued by the Secretariat, clubs were informed that they are now required to submit player and official licences independently. The self-submission process is intended to modernise administration, improve data security and give clubs direct control over their registration details.
The league noted that direct submission would also reduce errors and minimise eligibility disputes during the season.
Clubs were further instructed to submit details of three distinct playing kits. These include a home kit in the club’s traditional colours, an away kit that clearly contrasts with the home strip, and an alternative kit to be used when colour clashes occur.
The NLO emphasised that kits must remain permanent for the entire season, with each player retaining the same shirt number across all three jerseys to aid match officials, commentators and supporters.
In addition, all clubs are required to provide branded perimeter panels at their designated home venues. The league said the move is aimed at improving matchday presentation and boosting the commercial value of stadiums.
All documentation, kit designs and branding materials must be submitted to the NLO Secretariat no later than March 15, 2026. The league warned that failure to comply could lead to registration delays or sanctions in line with its regulations.
