The Nationwide League One has announced that registration for the 2026 football season will close on Friday, 27 February 2026.
In an urgent notice to clubs, the league confirmed that no extensions will be granted beyond the deadline. Any club that fails to complete the registration process by the stipulated date will be excluded from the 2026 season fixtures.
The new campaign is scheduled to kick off on Friday, 10 April 2026.
Clubs are required to pay a registration fee of N600,000 to the league’s designated bank account to gain access to the registration database. Proof of payment must be presented at the Secretariat to finalise activation on the league portal.
For Division One teams, the completion of all digital player profiles and medical certifications is mandatory.
Youth League clubs competing in the Under 19 category must also submit players’ Primary School Certificates as part of the compulsory age verification process.
The league reiterated that only clubs that meet all requirements before the deadline will be cleared to participate in the 2026 season.
