Kun Khalifat FC midfielder Ebetomame Oghenetega has charged his teammates to show courage and determination as the club battles to avoid relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Owerri-based side sit bottom of the table with 25 points from 26 matches and face a crucial fixture against Niger Tornadoes at the Dan Anyiam Stadium this weekend.
Oghenetega admitted the situation is delicate but insisted the squad must rise to the challenge with a strong mentality.
“We all know what is at stake but the most important thing is that we need to show courage and bravery,” Oghenetega told Kun Khalifat FC Media.
“We need to have strong minds, focus and try to bring out the best results.”
Kun Khalifat FC will be desperate for maximum points at home as they seek to climb off the foot of the table and keep their survival hopes alive.
