Shooting Stars SC forward Lucky Emmanuel has described his side’s victory over Warri Wolves as a major boost ahead of their next fixture in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Emmanuel scored the second goal in Shooting Stars’ 4-2 win against Warri Wolves on matchday 26 in Abeokuta. Sodiq Ibrahim, Steven Amos and Desmond Ojietefian were also on target for the Ibadan-based club.
The Oluyole Warriors will face Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium this weekend as they continue their push in the league.
Emmanuel expressed confidence that his team can secure maximum points in Jos.
“I feel so great with the goal and the performance of the team,” he told the club’s media.
“The win over Warri Wolves is a big motivation for us to go to Jos and get the maximum points.”
