Esperance Set for Sundowns Clash as Morocco Guarantees Finalist

The semi-final line-up for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2025/26 has been confirmed following a thrilling conclusion to the quarter-finals over the weekend.

South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Tunisia’s Esperance Sportive de Tunis, and Moroccan sides FAR Rabat and RS Berkane have booked their places in the last four, setting up two mouth-watering semi-final clashes in April.

Esperance will face Mamelodi Sundowns in a high-profile clash between two of Africa’s most consistent performers in recent years. Morocco is guaranteed a finalist as FAR Rabat and RS Berkane meet in an all-Moroccan showdown.

Mamelodi Sundowns progressed despite a 2-0 defeat away to Stade Malien in Bamako, relying on their 3-0 first-leg win in Pretoria to secure a 3-2 aggregate victory.
