A year ago, few football followers outside Onitsha had heard much about the young striker plying his trade with Ozalla FC in Anambra State. Today, he has become one of the most exciting young attacking prospects in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), proving that talent, when discovered early and nurtured properly, can flourish on the biggest stages.

Chidera Michael’s journey is a perfect example.
Scouted from Ozalla FC and handed the opportunity to make his NPFL debut with Enyimba, the youngster embraced the challenge with remarkable maturity.
