Super Eagles captain and Kano Pillars star, Ahmed Musa, has been appointed as the Sports Ambassador for Kano State. The appointment was made by the Kano State Governor, His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf, in recognition of Musa’s contributions to sports and his influence as a role model for young athletes.
Musa expressed his gratitude for the appointment through his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday. He shared his excitement about the new role and his commitment to using the position to promote sports development in Kano State.
"I am deeply honoured to be appointed as the Sports Ambassador for Kano State!" Musa wrote. He also emphasized his eagerness to work towards empowering the youth and enhancing sports in the state, recognizing Kano’s rich sporting heritage.
