Tanzania Premier League club, Bugesera FC, has officially signed Umar Abba Wakiniraga, former star of Gombe United. Despite Gombe United's relegation from the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season, Umar stood out with impressive performances, earning him a move to East Africa.
Bugesera FC's board confirmed the arrival of the Nigerian attacker on Thursday morning. The club announced his signing via a statement, welcoming him to the team and wishing him success for the upcoming season.
"We wish to inform you that Rutahizamu #Umar Abba Wakiniraga of Gombe United FC in Nigeria is now a member of Bugesera FC for one (1) year. Let's give him good luck," the club's statement read.
