ABS Ilorin FC head coach, Sani Sarduana, is determined to secure a victory against Godswill Akpabio FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday two fixture.
The game is set for Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin. ABS Ilorin will be looking to build on their recent 5-2 win against Abakiliki FC.
Sarduana expressed confidence ahead of the clash, saying, “We're looking forward to tomorrow's game, and I’m optimistic we’ll get the win.”
This will mark the first-ever meeting between the two teams. ABS Ilorin currently holds eighth place in the NNL table with three points from two matches. Meanwhile, Godswill Akpabio FC, new entrants to the league, sit fourth in Conference B with five points from four games.
