Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC secured a vital 1-0 win over Sporting Lagos FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) matchday 15 clash at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbow George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.

After a tense, goalless first half, substitute Boluwatife Ajina struck the decisive goal in added time, tapping in a pass from Ayoku Abdulraman to spark wild celebrations among the home fans.

The victory ended ABS Ilorin FC's three-game winless run and lifted the team up the league standings. Head coach Anthony Encho hailed his players' fighting spirit, describing the result as a huge relief for the club.

"I'm proud of the team's zeal and determination. We worked hard to get back to winning ways, and it's a huge relief for us. The win has moved us up the ladder, and we're looking forward to building on this momentum," Encho said.
