Portuguese second division club F.C. Vizela is set to complete the signing of Nigerian teenage midfielder Buba Abubakar, pending the approval of his work permit.
The 18-year-old, who impressed during a trial with the club, was scouted from Nigeria and is highly rated by Vizela’s recruitment team. Club scout Pedro Miguel praised Abubakar's potential, describing him as “a talented young player” with “great promise.”
Abubakar, from Damaturu in Yobe State, built his reputation playing for local clubs before catching the attention of European scouts. Known for his sharp passing, dribbling, and game intelligence, the midfielder has already attracted interest from other European clubs.
F.C. Vizela, recognized for developing young talents, currently sits second in the Portuguese second division. The addition of Abubakar is seen as a move to strengthen their push for promotion.
The club and its supporters await the finalization of his paperwork, with excitement building around the teenager’s potential impact once he officially joins the squad.

Buba Abubakar is a natural talented footballer since I knew him in Barewa college so he deserve to be a professional footballer not even feeder team.
