The General Manager of Igbajo United FC, Prince Adekunle Fakile, has commended the club’s players, coaches, and staff following a crucial 1-0 win over Dakkada FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) Match Day 16 fixture.
In a statement released on Sunday, Fakile praised the team’s commitment, resilience, and teamwork that led to the vital home victory. He also acknowledged the loyal supporters for their passionate backing throughout the game.

The match, played at Igbajo United’s home ground, saw the hosts create multiple chances, with Yahaya Dauda and forwards Ugoh Godwin and Ganiyu causing problems for the Dakkada defence. The decisive moment came in the 51st minute when Mutiu Babalola headed in from a corner, sealing the win.
Fakile urged the team to stay focused ahead of their Match Day 17 away clash against high-flying Crown FC of Ogbomosho, as they continue their fight to move out of the relegation zone.
