FIFA has imposed player registration bans on twelve clubs across Africa due to unresolved disputes, likely linked to financial or contractual breaches.
The affected clubs span several countries, including South Africa’s TS Galaxy and Cape Town All Stars, Morocco’s Wydad AC, Tunisia’s Club Africain and Etoile Sportive du Sahel, and Kenya’s Sofapaka FC. Others on the list include Pamba Jiji FC (Tanzania), JS Kabylie (Algeria), Kiyovu Sports Association (Rwanda), Al Anwar and Al Madina SC (Libya), and Lumwana Radiants FC (Zambia).
These sanctions prevent the listed clubs from registering new players until they meet FIFA’s conditions, often involving the settlement of outstanding debts.
The bans are part of FIFA’s continued efforts to enforce compliance with global football regulations and protect the rights of players and clubs.
