Warri Wolves FC head coach Abayomi Olorunda has expressed confidence ahead of his team’s NNL25 Matchday 17 clash against Edel FC, set to take place on Sunday in Ozoro.

Speaking to Prince O. Stafford ahead of the crucial fixture, Coach Abayomi highlighted Warri Wolves' determination to secure maximum points as they continue their push for Super 8 qualification.

“I am positive about Sunday’s match against Edel FC in Ozoro,” said Abayomi. “We will use everything within our arsenal to secure all three points.”

The Wolves defeated Edel FC 2-1 in their last meeting in Awka back in January, and Abayomi believes that result gives his team a psychological edge going into this weekend's encounter.

He also commended his players’ recent form, particularly their 4-1 victory over Beyond Limits FA in Ozoro during Matchweek 15. He praised the team’s resilience and unity, emphasizing that they are well-prepared for whatever tactics Edel FC may bring.

“We won’t underestimate Edel, but our boys are ready and in high spirits. We’ve never lost a game, and God willing, this won’t be an exception,” Abayomi added.
