Nigeria’s Beyond Limits Football Academy will participate in the 2025 edition of the prestigious Gothia Cup, scheduled to take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 13th to 19th July 2025.
The club confirmed its involvement via an official statement on Friday, expressing excitement at the opportunity to showcase its talent on one of the world’s biggest youth football platforms. The academy, known for its structured player development and recent success in youth competitions across Nigeria, will be aiming to make a strong impression at the international level.
The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest youth football tournament, attracting over 1,700 teams from more than 80 countries annually. It offers young talents a unique opportunity to compete, learn, and experience diverse football cultures.
Beyond Limits, based in Ikenne, Ogun State, has earned a reputation for excellence, with several players graduating to the Nigerian premier leagues and beyond. Their participation in the Gothia Cup marks another major step in their international exposure and player development mission.
With preparations already underway, the academy will look to represent Nigeria with pride and possibly add to the growing list of African teams that have made a mark at the Gothia Cup.
