Enyimba FC Chairman, Nwankwo Kanu, added another iconic moment to his storied legacy as he was honoured by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the official trophy bearer at the 2025 CAF Champions League final in Cairo.
On a memorable night at the Cairo International Stadium, Pyramids FC claimed their first-ever CAF Champions League title with a 2–1 win over South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns. But beyond the footballing drama, the spotlight also shone on Kanu, whose presence brought pride and nostalgia across the continent.
