Chairman of Kwara United FC, Kumbi Titiloye, has charged the club’s players to remain focused and win the 2024 President Federation Cup in honour of Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Titiloye gave the rallying call on Saturday while receiving players and officials of the club who paid him a Sallah visit. He reassured them of the management’s full commitment to providing all necessary support and logistics ahead of the historic final.
“You must do everything possible to win and take the cup to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” Titiloye said, urging the Harmony Boys to stay disciplined and avoid distractions.
The chairman also extended appreciation to Chief Anthony Adeboye, Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his consistent support. He described Adeboye as a dependable ally whose contributions have been vital to the club’s progress.
In a related show of support, Kwara United General Manager, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, hosted the players on Sallah Day to further boost morale ahead of the final showdown.
Highlighting the team’s hunger for success, Kwara United’s Lambert—fresh from winning silver in football at the National Sports Festival—presented his medal to Titiloye as a symbol of commitment to achieving more glory with the club.
