El-Kanemi Warriors have completed the signing of central midfielder Salisu Ibrahim from Belarusian outfit FC Smorgon ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The box-to-box midfielder makes a return to the NPFL after a stint in Europe, having previously played for Wikki Tourists before sealing a move abroad.
Salisu has now joined the Maiduguri-based side with all necessary paperwork finalised, as confirmed by the club’s media officer, Gaga.
His signing adds depth to El-Kanemi’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
