El-Kanemi Warriors FC have bolstered their squad with the unveiling of sixteen new players ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign. The unveiling ceremony was held at the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp in Maiduguri, which also serves as the club’s secretariat.
The new additions reflect the club’s ambition to improve its squad depth, competitiveness and overall performance in the forthcoming season. All the players have signed personal terms and are now officially part of Kabiru Dogo’s squad.
Among the headline signings is Habila David, who joins from Israeli side Hapoel Ramat Gan, and experienced goalkeeper Iddrisu Ibrahim from Kano Pillars. The club also secured the services of promising talents such as Suleiman Badaru from FC Geshwills and Akekoromowei Godspower from Inter Lagos.
