Katsina United Football Club have announced Sunday, 6th July 2025 as the official resumption date for players, ahead of preparations for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by Muhammad Rabiu Muhammad, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, on behalf of the Commissioner.
According to the club, training activities will kick off on Monday, 7th July 2025.
The statement also revealed that the club has retained 23 players from last season while inviting 12 new additions to bolster the squad ahead of the new campaign.
Katsina United further directed all technical crew and backroom staff to report to the training ground on the scheduled date, as preparations intensify for a strong showing in the new NPFL season.
