NALCOMA Applauds Aluo’s Tenure Extension and Strategic Move by NNL

The Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) has praised the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for extending Chief George Aluo’s tenure as Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL) by one year.

The decision, made by the NFF Executive Committee led by President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau on Thursday, 3rd July 2025, also affects Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye (NPFL) and H.E. Silas Ali Agara (NLO), with all three set to continue in their roles until 29th September 2026.

NALCOMA President Godwin Enakhena described the move as timely and strategic, applauding the NFF for maintaining continuity and rewarding performance in club football administration. He highlighted Chief Aluo’s leadership as key to the progress of the NNL, noting the league's consistent growth and successful execution of the 2024/25 season, which will culminate in the Super 8 playoffs in Asaba from 5th to 12th July 2025.

Enakhena called on all stakeholders to rally behind Chief Aluo’s administration, stressing the need for collective effort in driving the development of Nigerian club football to greater heights.

In a related development, NALCOMA also commended the NNL for appointing Olumide Ajibolade, Head Coach of Beyond Limits FC, as Chairman of the Technical Study Group for the Super 8 tournament. He will be joined by Okechukwu Ejeh of Abia Comets and Aminu Musa of Basiru FC.

Enakhena extended his best wishes to all eight teams participating in the highly anticipated NNL Super 8.
