Wikki Tourists FC have announced a 10-day break for their players following their successful promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The club chairman, Engr. Auwal Gotel, made the declaration during a celebratory dinner in Bauchi, which was attended by players, coaching staff, and key stakeholders.
“The team has achieved its main goal, a well-deserved return to the NPFL. This short break is to help the players recover after a demanding season and come back stronger for the challenges ahead,” Engr. Gotel said.
Players are expected to return to training on 25th July 2025 in preparation for the 2025/26 NPFL season, which is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2025.
