2026 World Cup Qualifier: South Africa Opens Ticket Sales for Nigeria Showdown



The South African Football Association (SAFA) has officially begun ticket sales for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Bafana Bafana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The match, which is expected to be a crucial group decider, is scheduled to take place this September in Bloemfontein. With South Africa currently leading the group and Nigeria in fourth place, the fixture is anticipated to play a significant role in determining qualification.

SAFA announced a new ticket pricing structure, reflecting a 200 percent increase. Premium tickets will be available for R150 (₦12,730), while mid-tier tickets are priced at R100 (₦8,476). The most affordable adult tickets are set at R70 (₦5,933), and children's tickets will cost R40 (₦3,390).
