Former Bayelsa United forward Biweribo Tarabina has brought his time with the Prosperity Boys to an end, sealing a move to Nigeria Premier Football League side Plateau United. He was officially unveiled by his new club on 4 August 2025.
In a farewell message, Tarabina expressed deep gratitude to his former teammates for the battles, laughter, and memories they shared, as well as to the Bayelsa United supporters whose unwavering passion inspired him on the pitch. “You truly are the heart of the club,” he said.
The forward also singled out manager Gbenga Agbejoye, his brother Hon. Ebiye Tarabina, former chairman Ebiki Timitimi, and current chairman Hon. Tarilaye Nwankwe for their guidance and belief in him during his time in Yenagoa.
Although Tarabina moves on to a new chapter with Plateau United, he stated that Bayelsa United will always be part of his story, wishing the club success in the future.
Bayelsa United concluded their 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign last month, while Plateau United are preparing for the new season with fresh additions, including Tarabina.
