Katsina United Football Club has confirmed the inclusion of twelve indigenous players in its senior team as part of efforts to strengthen the squad with homegrown talent.
The promoted players are:

- Kabir Muhammed Kabir
- Ahmed Nasir
- Usman Abdullahi
- Abubakar Hassan
- Yusuf Ibrahim Hassan Suleiman
- Umar Yusuf
- Abubakar Maiwada
- Yusuf Abdulmumini
- Muhammad Sulaiman
The players are expected to report for an evening training session on Thursday, 21 August 2025, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium Complex.
Club chairman, Surajo Malumfashi, congratulated the players on their promotion and urged them to remain dedicated, disciplined, and committed to showcasing sportsmanship to excel at the top level.
