Kwara United Bolsters Squad with 18 New Signings Ahead of NPFL 2025/26 Season



Kwara United have reinforced their squad with 18 new players ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, aiming to mount a stronger challenge in the new campaign.

The new arrivals include seven attackers, four midfielders, five defenders, and two goalkeepers, ensuring depth and balance across all positions for the Harmony Boys.

At the official unveiling ceremony, Club Chairman Mr Kumbi Titiloye, represented by General Manager Bashir Badawiy, commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Kwara State Sports Commission for their consistent support. Badawiy assured fans that the team is “battle ready for the task ahead”.

He revealed that 13 players departed the club by mutual consent, while 14 were retained. The club also focused on recruiting quality players to strengthen key areas of the team.

Badawiy further emphasised the NPFL’s zero tolerance for betting and misconduct, noting that players are aware of the strict penalties and remain committed to upholding league ethics. He also called on stakeholders and fans to continue their unwavering support for the club.
