Pacesetter Queens FC have begun a 10-day open trial in Ibadan as part of preparations to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The Oyo State female football side kicked off the screening exercise on Wednesday, 13 August 2025 at the training pitch of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, under the guidance of Head Coach Akinwunmi Obajimi Isogun.
According to OyoSportsNews, over 40 players from Oyo, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, and Ekiti States featured on the opening day. The trials, which will run until 22 August 2025, are expected to draw more talent from across the country.
Coach Isogun expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the standard of players observed, noting that the technical crew aim to assemble a team combining quality, professionalism, and league experience.
