Rivers United FC have confirmed the arrival of several new players as preparations continue for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Pride of Rivers have strengthened their squad with additions from across the NPFL and beyond. The club announced the following signings:
- Ani Ozoemena – from Enyimba FC
- Noble John – from Fountain Gate FC, Tanzania
- Nsi Effimi – from Rangers International
- Ogbu Ogechukwu – from Sunshine Stars
- Rivio Ayemwenre – from Ikorodu City
- Anthony Chukwudi Omaka – from Heartland
- Maclyn Biokpo – from Godswill Akpabio
- Seyi Oguntayo – from Akwa United
- Chinedu Sunday – from Kun Khalifat
- Wasiu Falolu – from Crown FC
- Issac Annor – from Bendel Insurance
Rivers United will begin their campaign on Friday with a clash against Remo Stars in Abeokuta as the NPFL 2025/26 season kicks off.
