Wikki Tourists FC have officially unveiled a raft of new players as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Giant Elephant confirmed the arrivals of nine players across different positions, aiming to boost their competitiveness in the league.
New signings include:
- Phillip Johnson – Left Back, joins from Akwa United on a one-season deal with an option for an additional year.
- Naziru Auwalu (Laja) – Creative Midfielder, signs from Kano Pillars on a two-year deal.
- Sani Ibrahim – Defensive Midfielder, arrives from Inter Lagos.
- Lius Dadong – Striker, joins from Kwara United.
- Abdullahi Usman (Pepe) – Centre Forward, switches from Sporting Lagos.
- Saddam Nahuta – Right Back, promoted from Warinje FC, signs his first professional two-year contract.
- Idris Ashiru Dantata – Left Full Back, returns to the club from Finland’s OPS FC on a two-year deal.
- Kabiru Abdullahi – Centre Back, joins from Lobi Stars on a one-season deal.
- Abba Usman – 17-year-old Midfielder/Winger, moves from Nasarawa United on a two-year deal with an option to extend.
The club emphasised that these additions are part of its long-term project to rebuild and strengthen its team identity in the NPFL.
With this squad refresh, Wikki Tourists will hope to make a strong statement when the new season kicks off later this month.
