Barau FC Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, has expressed determination to fix his team’s shortcomings following their 2-0 defeat to Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday.
Bosso praised his players’ efforts but admitted that the result did not reflect their performance.
“I believe my players gave a good account of themselves in the match against Bayelsa United. We did all we could, but the victory wasn’t ours. Indeed, we will go back and correct our mistakes before our next home game,” he said in his post-match interview.
Bayelsa United secured the win with a penalty from Wisdom Magbisa in the 59th minute and a second goal from Ofem Nneoyi in the 74th minute.
The defeat leaves Barau FC searching for their first win of the season as they prepare for their next fixture against Bendel Insurance in Kano on 7th September 2025.
