Kwara United have wrapped up their final training session ahead of Sunday’s decisive CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round return leg against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko. The match is set for the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 PM Nigerian time.
The session placed emphasis on tactical discipline, recovery, and refining weak areas observed in the first leg. Head coach Tunde Sanni directed the drills, giving detailed instructions as he fine-tuned strategies designed to contain the Ghanaians and secure progress to the next round.
“We are fired up and ready to finish the job. Our goal here in Abeokuta is to qualify for the next round to the delight of our supporters, whose unwavering backing we still count on,” said Coach Sanni.
The Harmony Boys confirmed that the squad is fully fit and prepared, with players showing sharp responses during training.
Kwara United face an uphill task after losing 4-3 in the first leg in Accra, but confidence remains high within the camp as they look to overturn the deficit on home soil.
