Ikorodu City FC visited Ebute Metta’s historic Evans Square to engage with football fans on the Lagos Mainland as part of their community activation programme.
Evans Square has long been recognised as an iconic football ground, having produced talents such as Obafemi Martins, the Olajide brothers, Ajibade Babalade and Kabiru Alausa. Many of these players were developed under the guidance of the late coach Baba Omo.
The activation was designed not only to connect with supporters but also to strengthen brand awareness and expand the club’s presence. Although named after Ikorodu, one of the most populous cities in Lagos State, the club continues to build its identity across the wider Mainland.
