Barau FC has issued a warning to individuals involved in the sale of counterfeit club merchandise, stressing that offenders will face the full weight of the law.
The club’s marketing manager, Abubakar Sadiq, made this known while reaffirming his commitment to protect the integrity and respect of the club.
Sadiq advised supporters and the public to desist from buying fake jerseys and other items being sold in the name of the club. He clarified that such products do not originate from Barau FC and are unauthorised.
“Those who wish to own Barau FC kits must follow the proper channels,” Sadiq stated. “The club will not allow anyone to use its name for personal gain through illegal sales.”
He urged fans to ensure they purchase official kits through recognised outlets, warning that anyone caught engaging in the production or sale of counterfeit items will be sanctioned.
