Katsina United FC Chairman, Surajo Malumfashi, has urged fans to turn out in large numbers to support the team as they prepare to face Kano Pillars in the Northwest Nigeria Premier Football League Derby at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.
Malumfashi charged the players and technical crew to approach the encounter with passion and commitment, stressing the importance of securing victory for the club.
He also appealed to the club’s supporters to maintain discipline and good conduct during the game to sustain the cordial relationship between both Northwest rivals.
In his remarks, the chairman called for prayers from sports enthusiasts and the people of Katsina State for a successful outing.
Malumfashi expressed gratitude to Governor Mal Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, for his consistent support, and to Sports Commissioner Aliyu Lawal Shargalle for his concern and contributions to the club’s progress.
