Kwara United Depart for Ghana Ahead of Asante Kotoko Clash



Kwara United Football Club have left Ilorin for Lagos ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round fixture against Asante Kotoko.

The Harmony Boys’ 30-man contingent, comprising 23 players and seven officials, will depart Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Friday morning, with their flight scheduled for 7:00 AM.

The Nigerian side will battle the Ghanaian giants at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, with kickoff fixed for 4:00 PM.

Captain Afeez Musa said the squad are fully prepared and focused on securing a positive result, adding that the players are determined to make their supporters proud in Ghana.
