Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, to felicitate with him ahead of his ascension to the throne of Ibadanland.
The club’s delegation was led by the Executive Chairman, Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami, alongside Chief Operating Officer Bunmi Fadayomi and Sporting Director Adepoju Tobi Samuel.
During the visit, Shooting Stars presented Oba Ladoja with the team’s official home jersey and a merchandise box, symbolising appreciation for his long-standing support of the club. The management also sought his royal blessings, describing him as one of the club’s staunch supporters and a proud custodian of Ibadan’s heritage.
Honourable Salami expressed gratitude on behalf of the club, noting the Olubadan-designate’s dedication to the growth of football in Ibadan and Oyo State. He reaffirmed 3SC’s commitment to promoting excellence, unity and community pride.
In response, Oba Ladoja commended the club’s achievements on and off the pitch and pledged his continued support. He also extended his best wishes for the ongoing NPFL season, adding that he looked forward to attending one of the team’s matches as a special guest.
The visit further highlighted the strong bond between Shooting Stars and the Ibadan community, underscoring the deep cultural and sporting ties that unite the club and the people.
