Kwara United assistant captain, Kabiru Muhammed, has described his side’s 2-0 triumph over Kun Khalifa on as a major morale booster.
The Harmony Boys took the lead in the 24th minute through Aule Johnmark before Obiora Kingsley sealed the win with a late strike in the 82nd minute.
Speaking after the NPFL Matchday 3 clash at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin, Kabiru said the result would inspire the team as they push towards their season targets.
“We will continue to work smart and intelligently to achieve our goal this season. This victory is a big motivation as we look forward to the next game,” he noted.
Kwara United will be looking to maintain this momentum as the campaign progresses.
