Head Coach of Kun Khalifat FC, Obinna Uzoho, has stated that his squad aims to bounce back from their 1-2 defeat to defending champions Remo Stars ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Kwara United.
Kun Khalifat FC will face Kwara United at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl, Ilorin, on Sunday, 7 September 2025.
Uzoho expressed confidence in his team and promised a strong performance against the Afonja Warriors. He stressed the need for resilience and determination from The Pride of Imo State.
Speaking to Kun Khalifat FC Media, he said, "We will go out there and look for a good result knowing we lost at home and must get a point or points. I've charged my players to maintain discipline and composure. We must create, take our chances, and secure a positive result. We owe it to ourselves and our fans."
With only one point from their first two games, Kun Khalifat FC will be eager to secure a win in this fixture.
