Shooting Stars Thank Fans After Home Draw Against Ikorodu City

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have praised their fans for their unwavering support after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Ikorodu City in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 3 encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba on Sunday.

The Oluyole Warriors started strongly and took the lead in the 9th minute through Sodiq Ibrahim, but Ikorodu City struck back just before the interval when Shola Adelani levelled in the 44th minute. Both sides created further chances after the break, with 3SC goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal making an important save on his home debut. Despite their attacking push, Shooting Stars could not find the winner and settled for a share of the spoils.

Following the result, the club issued a statement thanking their fans for their loyalty and passion. “To our incredible supporters, we say a heartfelt thank you. Your energy, songs, and presence at the stadium lift the Oluyole Warriors every time we step on the pitch. Though Sunday’s game ended in a draw, your unflinching support is never taken for granted. We assure you that with continued hard work and focus, the results will come and together we will celebrate the victories ahead. Your loyalty is our strength. Up Shooting!” the statement read.

The Oluyole Warriors now have two draws and one defeat from their opening three games of the 2025/26 NPFL season as they continue their search for a first win.
