Kwara United have parted ways with head coach Tunde Sanni following their 1-0 home defeat to Abia Warriors in Ilorin on Sunday.
The club confirmed that Sanni has been directed to step aside, with his assistant, Ashifat Suleiman, taking charge of the team with immediate effect.
Sanni, who made history by leading the Harmony Boys to their first-ever major trophy with last season’s President Federation Cup triumph, leaves the club after a poor start to the NPFL26 campaign.
The management expressed appreciation for his service and stated that further decisions on the team’s technical direction will be announced soon.
