Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Thapelo Morena, has emphasised the team’s determination ahead of their CAF Champions League second preliminary round clash against their Nigerian opponents.
Speaking to the club’s media, Morena stated that the team’s focus and commitment would be crucial once they arrive in Nigeria.
“The game starts from when we land in Nigeria. We’re gonna have to put our minds in it and whatever comes our way, we just need to move it. We need to make sure that we do our level best,” he said.
The first leg of the encounter is scheduled for Sunday, 19 October 2025, in Abeokuta, while the return leg will take place on Sunday, 26 October 2025, at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
