Ekiti United FC Head Coach Bolarinwa Idris has expressed strong confidence in his team’s readiness to bounce back as they prepare to face Akwa United FC at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti this Sunday.
Following last weekend’s defeat away to Calabar Rovers, Ekiti United intensified their training, focusing on tactical adjustments and physical conditioning. Coach Idris stated, "We have put the loss behind us. The boys have worked hard, and they're ready to take on Akwa United FC. Our focus is clear, and our spirit is high."
He commended the players for their positive response to the setback, highlighting the competitive spirit in training and the collective commitment to secure full points at home. Idris also appealed to fans to turn out in large numbers, emphasising the importance of their support. "Their support means everything to the team. Together, we can create an atmosphere that drives the boys to victory," he said.
The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday, with Ekiti United aiming to right the wrongs of their previous defeat and deliver a memorable performance on home soil.
