Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC have parted ways with head coach Yusuf Salihu following a mutual agreement between both parties.
Salihu was appointed on September 9, 2025, and took charge of the club during the first stanza of the 2025–2026 Nigeria National League season.
Under his leadership, ABS Ilorin FC recorded three wins and four defeats, finishing fourth on the Conference C standings.
In a statement released by the club, the management praised Salihu for his commitment, professionalism and dedication during his time in Ilorin, while wishing him success in his future career.
To ensure continuity, ABS Ilorin FC have appointed Ogundeji Alade as Interim Head Coach.
Ogundeji is a familiar figure within the club, having previously worked alongside Cameroonian coach Tony Encho during his spell with ABS Ilorin FC.
The management expressed confidence in Ogundeji’s ability to steady the team and guide the players effectively during the transition period.
