Aweroro Unimpressed with Lucky Emmanuel Despite Goal in Enyimba Win

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Nurudeen Aweroro, has admitted he was not fully satisfied with the performance of new signing Lucky Emmanuel despite the forward scoring in the club’s 3–0 victory over Enyimba.

Emmanuel was on the scoresheet during Wednesday’s Nigeria Premier Football League encounter at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, as the Oluyole Warriors recorded an emphatic win.

Qamar Adegoke and Sodiq Ibrahim also found the net to cap an impressive display from the home side against the former champions.

Speaking after the match, Aweroro said Emmanuel still has significant areas of his game to improve, even though he managed to get his name on the scoresheet.

“Lucky didn’t do well to my own satisfaction,” Aweroro told 3SCfanstv.

“He also noticed that and we will keep working with him to get better ahead of the next game.”

Emmanuel rejoined Shooting Stars at the start of the second stanza, returning to a club he previously represented in 2022.
