Bendel Insurance urged to maintain discipline ahead of NPFL second stanza

Bendel Insurance players have been urged to maintain discipline as the club prepares for the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The advice was given by the club’s General Manager, Charles Ihimekpen, in a statement released at the end of the first half of the season.

Ihimekpen encouraged the players to use the short break wisely and return refreshed for the continuation of the campaign.

“The management appeals to the players to remain disciplined and ensure they return refreshed to continue with the impressive performance in the NPFL,” part of the statement read.

The Benin Arsenals have been granted a five-day break to mark the festive period.

Bendel Insurance have enjoyed a remarkable turnaround in form since Kennedy Boboye assumed duties as technical adviser.

The Benin-based side have climbed to ninth place on the NPFL table with 26 points.
